THE FILE
The archive activates on 28 August 2026. We pull the Q3 ledger on MP Materials, the supposed champion of the American rare earth renaissance. They sell the promise of a fully integrated mine-to-magnet supply chain. The numbers reveal a geopolitical shell game built on unsold inventory and wet concrete.
THE THEME
Mineral Security is the quiet, grinding arms race of our era. Nations carve up the earth's crust to hoard the magnetic dust that powers next-generation fighter jets and electric grids. But extraction means absolutely nothing without the alchemy to refine it. The reigning monopoly holds the midstream choke point. Everyone else is just digging up expensive, mildly radioactive dirt and praying for subsidies to bridge the gap.
THE ROOM
Marcus is glaring at a flickering monitor, dissecting a fifty-eight-million-dollar prototype that refuses to scale. Katie smooths her blazer, humming high-society strings while she defends the necessary friction of heavy industrial transition. The red light is on. Step inside.
