They want you to believe they are engineering us out of the farm-cycle decay of warehouse labor.

The pitch is a seamless, one-to-one human replacement. Just swap out the fragile meat-sack for a Figure 03 chassis and watch your supply chain velocity soar.

Here is the brutal reality: this is a smash-and-grab liquidity play masking a catastrophic CAPEX bonfire. Down on the factory floor at the BMW Spartanburg plant, the Figure 03 is running twelve percent slower than a human counterpart. Worse, the joints seize up after seventy-two hours in the South Carolina humidity. When the Agility Digit v5 pushes past three miles per hour, it simply destabilizes.

Over at GXO Logistics, Agility fleets are operating with a twenty-three percent manual intervention rate. That means a remote human operator has to step in and rescue the robot one out of every four times it tries to do its job. They are burning forty-four thousand hours of NVIDIA compute just to teach a metal skeleton not to crush a cardboard box. It is all theoretical physics and zero physical reality—like calculating the exact aerodynamic trajectory of a blown scarf, only to sprint face-first into a glass door.

The bottom line is the hardware is a worthless loss leader.

Look at Unitree, which just slashed its G1 deployment price to thirteen thousand, five hundred dollars—cheaper than a depreciated used sedan. Why? Because the physical chassis is just bait to trap enterprise clients in proprietary cloud ecosystems like the Agility Arc.

They are deploying these units before the thermal degradation is even mapped, bleeding venture capital to pay an endless data center compute tax. We aren't witnessing an engineering miracle, mate. We are watching the greatest labor arbitrage grift of the decade.
